Childtech Challenge

A competition that looks for the world's most innovative startups focused on children and youth, willing to implement their solutions in vulnerable communities in Latin America.

We drive innovation in childhood and youth

We created the Childtech challenge, whose first edition was in 2021. The Childtech challenge is much more than a competition: it is the bridge that brings nonprofit organizations and startups together in a joint innovation project.

Through technology and collaboration, we have changed realities in vulnerable communities, touching the lives of thousands of children, young people and adults in their surroundings.

Winners' testimonials

The Childtech Challenge let us reach public schools in Mexico for the first time. It was something we had been looking for a long time and had not been able to achieve.
Rubén Arias CEO of Beereaders, winner of the Inclusion and Education challenge in Mexico
To create real impact in communities, it is essential to work in a coordinated way with all actors and sectors. The Childtech Challenge gave us highly professional and committed partners on the ground to carry out the implementation.
Paula García Partnerships and Projects Manager at Matific, winner of the Inclusion and Education challenge in Colombia
It was an excellent experience of growth, learning and great success. We learned a lot from the team and the program. Apply! You will not regret it.
María del Mar Vélez CEO of Crack The Code
Being part of the challenge is a valuable opportunity to validate and scale projects. It is a space to receive feedback from experts, validate ideas and explore strategies to scale high-impact educational solutions.
Pablo Donoso Matific | BD Government Specialist LATAM
Winning the Childtech Challenge is an invitation to do more with technology in early childhood, and to do it responsibly to generate more impact.
Germán Zubia Founder | Hipocampus
Winning the Childtech Challenge is a great achievement. It shows that it is possible to combine mental health with technology and artificial intelligence.
Mónica Ugarte Founder | Hipocampus
Winning is a validation of what we built by betting on digital literacy in Latin America. Generative AI is so new that there was a lot of uncertainty about whether our pedagogical and ethical approach would resonate in this context.
