A committee of experts made up of representatives of the social world, childhood specialists, social innovation and technology, were responsible for choosing the 8 candidates competing for the prize of up to 30K and implementing a project of high social impact in Chile.
After a successful call involving almost 100 organizations from around the world and a rigorous application review process, only 8 startups were selected to moving forward in the selection process.
As Carolina Arce, Co-Founder and Director of Impactus Ventures point out, «We received applications from almost every continent and selected 8 technological solutions from 5 countries. We are impressed by the quality of the solutions and the positive social impact generated by their founders and teams in the world. This result is the beginning of the creation of a social and innovation ecosystem for children and adolescents in Latin America».
Over the next few weeks, candidates will have to work on their proposed implementation plan, which will be thoroughly reviewed by the Impactus Ventures and Fundación Para La Confianza team, and will choose the 5 finalists to be presented at the Grand Finale.
The Grand Finale is a virtual selection event, where a jury made up of experts and representatives of the alliances that make this challenge possible, will choose the winning startup that will implement its set with Fundación Para la Confianza.

An App and platform created to fight against eating disorders and any type of teenage conflict.
Country: Spain
Social impact project that aims to protect children and adolescents from the risks of the Internet, social networks, and cell phones.
Country: Chile
A psychoeducational video game that develops social-emotional skills
Country: Israel
AI software that allows detecting hate speech, bullying, grooming, sexual activity, etc. It scans sites and detects phrases, videos, photos with content from the selected categories, raising the alert and providing guidance to the client on how to act in the situation.
Country: USA
A platform that transforms any social-emotional learning content into daily lessons and exercises that are fun, mobile, and interactive for teenagers.
Country: Chile
A program that addresses the entire educational community to work on improving school coexistence and detecting problems such as bullying, cyberbullying, sexting, grooming, among others.
Country: Spain
APP that helps to recognize and alert anonymously about bullying or cyberbullying cases. It allows early detection of conflicts before they become even more severe.
Country: Mexico
A Digital confidant (chatbot) designed to help teens build healthy, safe relationships and identify situations of violence.
