We will also launch the call for the “ChildTech Challenge”, a competition that will award two prizes of up to 30K usd to implement high social impact projects in Chile. We are looking for innovative startups with proven solutions in the areas of health, education and protection

ChildTech Challenge is an open call to innovators all around the world that are impacting positively the life of children and teeagers and, as Impactus Ventures, we want to support them in the expansion towards or in Latin America.

Sofía Ramírez – Board member Impactus Ventures, Venture Partner AgFunder
Sofía is a business professional with broad experience in AgriFood technology. As a founding team member of Liventus, the leading agtech solution to preserve the quality of fresh produce during its post-harvest, she spearheaded the company’s market introduction, sales, and global expansion with major clients across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and LatAm, growing its global market share from 0 to 30% in three years. She has studied Business and Communication at UC Berkeley, Singularity University and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and has worked in multiple locations including Singapore, Chile, Mexico, and San Francisco.
Gabe has experience as a social entrepreneur in organizations focused on educational opportunity, diversity and inclusion. Gabe earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where he studied social innovation in early childhood.
Eva has been part of FEMSA Foundation since it began in 2008, where she currently manages the area of Early Childhood Social Development. Additionally, she chairs the board of Enseña por México, an organization with which she has collaborated for several years, and actively participates in the boards of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in Texas and the US-Mexico Foundation.
Eva earned a B.A. in International Relations from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an M.A. in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with a focus on international economics and Latin American studies.
